K-5th Curriculum

Saxon Math

From K-12th grade, students use Saxon Math because it provides an effective method by teaching new concepts incrementally while also consistently reinforcing prior lessons. 

Shurley Grammar 

 This program utilizes chants, rhymes and songs in learning important grammar objectives.

Latina Christiana

3rd-4th grades use Latina Christiana textbooks to provide the basis for their journey through Latin.

Johnny Can Spell 

This program not only teaches students the sounds of letters and phonograms, but also introduces many spelling rules that are captured in the students memory as they are taught.

Bob Jones Science 

 These texts are paired with hands on experiences in our grammar school science classrooms.

Reading 1st & up

We utilize a literature based reading program beginning in 1st grade. Grammar school students read, together and individually, age and grade appropriate literature to increase word call, comprehension and reading fluency.
